Every Saturday at Pleasurehood, we put the fun back into dance music.

Exploring the best in house and disco from across the globe, join us on the floor each week at XOYO.

This is your disco. This is your house.

The Godfather of House. Few figures in contemporary music have made such an impact that they revolutionised their genre of music, and that’s just what Frankie Knuckles did for dance music.
A real pioneer in the creation and development of house music, Frankie's songs are firm favourites on dance floors all around the world, with classics such as Your Love, The Whistle Song and Baby Wants to Ride leading him to be a household name.
A hero on and off the turntables, Frankie Knuckles legacy lives on with the positive impact he’s left on the ill, homeless and children of Chicago from his countless fundraising events for chosen charities throughout the city, so much so that August 25th was named Frankie Knuckles day by The Mayor of Chicago.
Frankie once said house music was, “church for people that have fallen from grace” so it only seemed fitting to have the House Gospel Soundsystem perform a live tribute to the late legend.
