- Andy C
- Culture Shock
Marking the first time we have ever invited a resident back to the club, Andy C takes the helm as our 21st quarterly resident of XOYO. His 2017 residency blew the collective minds of the d'n'b scene worldwide, and it’s fair to say we are hyped to welcome him back to XOYO. Prepare yourself for another stripped back,
intimate, sweaty affair with some of the biggest and best names in the scene. MC Tonn Piper joins him for 13 weeks, the pair’s lasting friendship second only to their shared passion for drum and bass.
Coming straight out of Austria, Mefjus went from winning Best Newcomer Producer in 2012 to Best Album in 2015 at the Drum&BassArena Awards, and has since put out some of the heaviest releases in recent years. Catch the European festival kingpin tearing it up in our Shoreditch basement.
Since the significant passing of an unmarked demo, the soundtrack to James Poutney’s journey is one that’s well known. Initially hooked by the 90’s Drum & Bass sound transmitted through pirate radio, the boundaries pushed by his sonic artwork under the now revered guise Culture Shock have created a varied and diverse discography that’s symbolic within one of the UK’s most withstanding genres. Prophecy rounds off the bill.
Admission to XOYO is at management's discretion, advance tickets do not guarantee entry. If entry is refused to a ticket holder, you can obtain a full refund (minus booking fee) by contacting XOYO after the event at [email protected]
If advance tickets are sold out, there will be a few hundred available on the door so feel free to walk up. We recommend getting down early to avoid queues.
