WWA Warm Up

Gilles Peterson presents a very special night on the eve of his legendary Worldwide Awards show, highlighting the talent that we’re tipping for great things during the year ahead. Class of 2012 – stand up!

Topping the live bill are Canadian jazz/hip-hop trio Bad Bad Not Good. They’re still at college but 2011 saw them collaborate with OFWGKTA’s Tyler The Creator, open for Roy Ayers in Toronto and kick off their sets with a cover of Waka Flocka Flame’s anthem ‘Hard In The Paint’.

Also tipped for greatness are the live hip-hop quartet 2morrow’s Victory who hail from South London and the vivacious bumpy beathead jams of fLako (Ho-Tep / Project Mooncircle).

And of course, Gilles P will be joining the dots on a DJ tip, ably supported by certified Worldwide Familia Lefto and one of the most eagerly anticipated producers in the electronic world (and hype machine fave) Ifan Dafydd.
